Job summary

Frederick Health Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time role working 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, four shifts per week with on-call requirements. A BSN is required, and MD RN license must be active.

Qualifications

• Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• BSN degree or BSN agreement with degree achieved within 5 years from start of position.
• Clinical competency with minimum 2 years of experience; supervisory/charge responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and provides direct patient care per nursing standards using the nursing process.
• Frequent rounds to ensure quality, customer service and appropriate care; identify areas for improvement.
• Prepares patient care assignments considering staff skill mix and patient needs.
• Ensures a safe patient care environment; coordinates maintenance and environmental health needs.
• Mentors, counsels and evaluates clinical staff; participates in interview process.
