Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred or willing to obtain within 5 years of employment.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Maryland or compact state RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental and discharge planning according to nursing standards.
• Provide initial assessment and reassessment and document nursing interventions and patient response.
• Communicate pertinent information to health care team in a concise and timely manner.
• Independently offers patient/family education and supports teaching activities.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain competency requirements.
