Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking experienced registered nurses for the night shift on a 3x12 hour schedule with weekend and holiday rotation from 7pm to 7:30am. A $30,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible night-shift positions.

The unit focuses on adult/geriatric Orthopedic and Neuro surgery, with joint replacement and stroke patients. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, teaching, discharge planning, and collaboration with the health care team to ensure

Qualifications

• Eligible for Maryland RN license and current CPR/BLS.
• Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred or within 5 years.
• Proven clinical competency in nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Assesses biophysical, psychosocial, environmental and discharge planning per nursing standards.
• Initiates and documents individualized care plans with interdisciplinary input.
• Communicates patient status and plans of care to the health team promptly.
• Leads in care planning, delegation, and teaching within department guidelines.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
