Job summary

Frederick Health's Observation Unit is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with weekend and holiday rotation. The role requires independent nursing care within a monitored unit, with 24/7 provider availability.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Maryland or compact state.
• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• CPR and BLS certifications required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess biophysical, psychosocial, and discharge planning according to nursing standards.
• Provide initial and ongoing assessments with timely documentation.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with multidisciplinary input.
• Educate patient and family; participate in discharge planning and teaching.
