Qualifications

• Must hold RN or LVN license in good standing.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills are required.
• Excellent communication and ability to organize workflows.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct care teams: guide Nurse Aides to ensure proper resident care.
• Administer medications safely as prescribed.
• Implement care plans in accordance with policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform treatments as needed to maintain resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly.
• Document resident care timely in charts and complete nursing assessments.
• Collaborate during shift reports to ensure seamless communication.
• Educate support staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain safety standards with infection control and body mechanics.
• Address staffing needs by arranging replacement staff when necessary.
