Hireology seeks a dedicated Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to lead care teams and ensure high-quality resident care in a Texas facility. You will administer medications, implement care plans, and document nursing assessments, while coordinating shift reports and staff education.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse or licensed vocational nurse in good standing, with strong clinical skills, clear communication, and a readiness to respond swiftly to emergencies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RN or LVN licensure in good standing.
• Excellent clinical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and workflow organization.
• Emergency responsiveness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Guide Nurse Aides to ensure resident care.
• Administer Medications: Safely administer resident meds as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute plans per policies and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely documentation and assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Ensure seamless communication and continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Train staff on nursing policies and resident needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Enforce infection control and safe practices.
• Address Staffing Needs: Arrange replacements as needed.
