Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Charge Nurse - LVN or RN to lead care teams and ensure high-quality resident care in our Texas facility. You will supervise Nurse Aides, administer medications, implement care plans, and document care accurately.

The role requires strong clinical skills, reliability, and the ability to coordinate shift reports, educate staff, maintain safety standards, and respond to emergencies with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Is a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing.
• Demonstrates excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to organize workflows effectively.
• Responds efficiently to emergencies and pays attention to detail in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
