• Ability to implement care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
• Strong emergency response, communication, and staff education skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
• Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
• Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with policies and orders.
• Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
• Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
• Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete nursing assessments.
• Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication.
• Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and educate staff on resident care needs.
• Maintain Safety Standards: Promote safe working environment with infection control practices.
• Address Staffing Needs: Respond to shortages by arranging replacement staff.
