Job summary

Meter is seeking its first Sales Engineering hire to support our Channel partners. You will work alongside partner engineers on customer opportunities, run trainings on-site and virtually, and guide partner teams through Meter Labs.

Reporting to the Head of Sales Engineering, you’ll build cadence with priority partners and stay aligned with Distribution and National/Strategic Partners leaders. You’ll be the go-to technical resource for engineers at major partners, help with discovery to

Qualifications

• Several years as a Sales Engineer or Systems Engineer in enterprise networking, with partner/channel focus.
• Deep technical knowledge of switching, routing, wireless, and network security; can whiteboard designs.
• Existing relationships with National and Strategic VARs and MSPs.
• Experience building and delivering technical enablement and training.
• Proactive, data-driven; sets cadence and prioritizes work.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to technical resource for engineers and SE leaders at partners like CDW, SHI, Presidio, and WWT.
• Support partners on end-customer opportunities, from discovery and design through technical validation.
• Build and run an engagement cadence for each priority partner and use data to prioritize.
• Host on-site and virtual technical training, and bring partner engineers through Meter Labs.
• Represent Meter at channel and partner events.
• Work with Product Marketing to deliver technical updates to the partner community.
• Stay aligned with Meter’s Distribution, National Partners, and Strategic Partners leaders.
