Job summary

Clutch, a Sacramento-based consultancy focused on social impact, seeks a Change Management Specialist to lead strategy, adoption, and training during organizational change. You will guide clients through policy, process, product, or structure shifts with human-centered communication and measurable outcomes.

You will report to the Head of Client Delivery and work with a cross-functional team to tailor change strategies, assess risks, design training, and monitor success metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in change management with a focus on human-centered approaches.
• Public sector or non-profit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of change management strategies, tailoring approaches to needs, risks and objectives.
• Advise teams on change strategy, influencing communication, training, stakeholders, and adoption planning.
• Exercise independent judgement in identifying change risks, determining mitigation strategies, and adapting plans.
• Determine appropriate change management methodologies, tools, and communication strategies without reliance on prescribed processes.
• Define and evaluate success metrics tied to business outcomes, adoption, and performance and adjust strategies based on findings.
• Design and deliver change management training to all levels, including virtual and in-person sessions.
• Develop and lead stakeholder engagement activities with internal and external customers to identify risks and plans.
• Develop impact assessments associated with proposed changes, including impact on individuals and the organization.
• Establish human-centered metrics for project success and clear methodology for measuring progress.
• Utilize a human-centered approach to change management, informing the plan and approach.
• Other duties as assigned.
