Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Building Engineering Services (BES) Construction Field Services Lead to drive strategy, growth, and delivery of CA/CM services across North America. You will align operations, professional services, and market sectors to deliver a world-class CFS offering.

You will lead staffing, risk management, and continuous improvement while partnering with leadership to optimize profitability and project delivery across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or closely related field.
• Professional registration (PE/Architect) preferred or required depending on role.
• Experience with construction planning, management, cost control, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead BES CFS long-term vision and growth strategy.
• Drive expansion toward a Data Center focused CFS business.
• Partner with leadership to identify and capture large, programmatic opportunities.
• Operationalize the Strategic Plan into executable programs and KPIs.
• Align leadership to deliver consistent execution across regions.
• Drive enterprise initiatives in line with BES priorities.
• Establish standardized processes, procedures, and delivery frameworks.
• Codify and deploy best practices, tools, templates, and lessons learned.
• Promote continuous improvement and digital delivery across the CFS program.
• Lead CFS financial performance, pricing strategies, and staffing models.
• Collaborate with regional directors on staffing and delivery capacity.
• Develop the CFS leadership team and succession planning.
• Ensure safety culture and robust risk management.
