Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an experienced CFO Services professional for its PEPI practice in New York. The role focuses on liquidity optimization, strategic analytics, and performance improvement for private equity portfolio companies.

The position emphasizes digital transformation using RPA, predictive forecasting, finance analytics, and NLG to deliver transparent financial insights and EBITDA enhancements. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in accounting/finance and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited 4-year college/university with a concentration in accounting/finance/economics.
Experience with digital finance technologies including RPA, predictive forecasting, finance analytics, NLG, and data visualization.
8+ years of experience related to accounting/finance, financial due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity.
Strong ability to understand financial models, data analytics, and presentation skills.
CPA, CFA, MBA, or master’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead components of projects with multiple service lines and manage smaller projects independently.
Guide client interviews, gather data, and develop actionable conclusions from analyses.
Develop cash-generating initiatives, EBITDA improvements, and optimal organizational structures.
Build financial models and provide clear, data-driven recommendations to senior management.
Manage client relationships and communicate project progress with accountability.
