Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a PE CFO Services Manager to support portfolio companies through data collection, validation and rigorous analysis aimed at improving liquidity, cash flow and EBITDA. You will guide teams, lead client interviews, and identify actionable opportunities across accounting and finance processes.

The role emphasizes leadership, financial acumen and the ability to deliver credible, value-driven analyses for senior management and boards.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited 4-year college/university with concentration in accounting, finance or economics preferred but not required.
7–10 years of experience in Accounting/Finance, Financial Due Diligence, Restructuring, Investment Banking or Private Equity.
Proficient financial models, data analytics programs, and presentation skills.
CPA, CFA, or Master’s Degree Preferred but not Required.

Responsibilities

Guide team members in information gathering and ensure all relevant sources are pursued.
Lead client interviews, ask questions, and understand stakeholders’ perspectives.
Identify knowledge gaps, challenge status quo, validate and develop better assumptions.
Forecast liquidity needs and assess accounting processes and organization design.
Ensure issues and opportunities are clearly presented and actionable.
Understand accounting/finance process flows and general ledger consolidation for value creation.
