Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking an experienced finance-focused professional to lead the Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) CFO Services. You will guide client interviews, develop analyses, and deliver actionable plans to improve cash flow, EBITDA, and governance for PE-owned portfolio companies.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in accounting/finance, knowledge of digital finance tools (RPA, finance analytics, NLG), and strong financial modeling and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of experience related to accounting/finance, financial due diligence, restructuring, investment banking, or private equity.
• Graduate with concentration in accounting, finance or economics preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analytics, and presentation skills.
• Experience with digital finance technologies including RPA, predictive forecasting, finance analytics, NLG, and data visualization.
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or master’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Guide and facilitate client interviews and develop analyses to prove hypotheses.
• Lead components of projects with multiple service lines and smaller projects independently.
• Design cash-generating initiatives and EBITDA improvements.
• Communicate insights and actionable plans to senior management and boards.
