Job summary

Brixey & Meyer is seeking a CFO Services Senior Manager – Outsourced Accounting in Cincinnati to lead outsourced accounting engagements, uphold quality, and mentor a growing team. This hands-on leadership role requires a controller-level perspective with the ability to dive into details when needed.

You'll partner with firm leadership on business development, develop scalable processes, manage client relationships, and drive profitability while building a strong accounting function for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA/MAcc preferred.
• CPA or CMA in good standing.
• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle and financial reporting.
• Experience leading and developing accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead outsourced accounting engagements and ensure accurate, timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Review month-end close, reconciliations, general ledger activity and other core accounting functions.
• Develop and coach Staff, Seniors, and Managers.
• Build client relationships and identify opportunities for additional value.
• Manage engagement budgets, scope, and profitability.
