Job summary

West Monroe is seeking Consulting Interns to join our Office of the CFO Advisory Practice. As a CFO Advisory Consulting Intern, you will help transform clients’ accounting, budgeting, planning, and financial reporting processes through process improvements, technology enablement, and AI-driven automation.

You will collaborate with project teams, support ERP selections and implementations, and contribute to data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and reside within 50 miles of the assigned office.
• Experience integrating AI tools into daily workflows to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a project team to assist CFOs in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities in financial close, reporting, forecasting, and analytics.
• Assess current-state processes and technology enablement within the CFO function.
• Develop transformational roadmaps to modernize financial processes and drive efficiency.
• Support ERP selection and implementation efforts from requirements to vendor evaluation.
