Job summary

West Monroe in Chicago is seeking Consulting Interns for the Office of the CFO Advisory Practice. As a CFO Advisory Consulting Intern, you will help transform clients’ accounting, budgeting, planning, and financial reporting through process improvements, core technology upgrades, AI and automation, and operating model refinements.

You'll join a project team, apply analytical thinking, and develop strong written and verbal communication skills while gaining exposure to ERP systems and AI tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willing to travel up to 50% and hybrid work environment.
• Experience applying AI tools to workflows to enhance productivity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to identify improvement opportunities in financial close, reporting, forecasting, and analytics.
• Support technology selection and ERP implementation efforts.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and synthesize insights for clients.
• Apply AI and automation to enhance delivery and client outcomes.
