Job summary

West Monroe is seeking Consulting Interns to join our Office of the CFO Advisory Practice. As a CFO Advisory Consulting Intern, you will help transform clients’ accounting, budgeting, planning, and financial reporting processes through process improvements, technology enhancements, and AI-driven automation.

You’ll collaborate with project teams, contribute to ERP selections, leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, and apply innovative tech to deliver measurable client outcomes while working in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in progress with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without limitation or sponsorship now or in the future.
• Reside within 50 miles of assigned office; hybrid work model.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% (travel expenses covered).
• Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into day-to-day workflows to enhance productivity and insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a project team to assist CFOs in identifying and implementing improvements in financial close, reporting, forecasting, and analytics.
• Contribute to technology selection and implementation efforts (e.g., ERP).
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and support data-driven recommendations.
• Apply AI and automation technologies to enhance insights and delivery efficiency.
