Job summary

TEAM, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform QC and code-compliance inspections on welded components and assemblies in field and shop environments. You will verify weld quality per codes, review documentation, and generate inspection records.

The position requires coordination with NDT personnel, client QA/QC teams, and adherence to safety protocols; travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or military experience a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS D1.1, ASME IX, B31.3, API 1104 and related codes is expected.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to generate accurate reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual welding inspections per AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API codes or project criteria.
• Review WPS, PQR, and WQTRs for projects.
• Coordinate with NDT personnel for UT, RT, MT, PT testing; produce inspection reports and weld maps.
