Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to perform quality control and code-compliance inspections on welded components and assemblies. You will verify weld quality through visual inspection and coordinate NDT testing across field and shop environments.

This role requires a strong knowledge of welding practices, inspection techniques, and documentation processes to support safety-critical operations and client QA/QC programs.

Qualifications

• Active AWS CWI certification required.
• Experience inspecting welds per AWS D1.1 and ASME IX.
• Strong report writing and QA/QC documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual welding inspections per AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API codes, or project criteria.
• Review WPS, PQR, and WQTR documents to verify weld compliance.
• Monitor welding activities for adherence to procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with NDT personnel to support UT/RT/MT/PT testing.
• Generate inspection reports, weld maps, and deficiency logs as needed.
• Witness welder qualification tests and maintain continuity logs.
• Interface with client QA/QC, fabricators, and engineers to resolve issues.
• Follow TEAM’s Life Critical Expectations and safety protocols.
• Uphold industry codes and TEAM’s professionalism and quality.
