Job summary

Sysco Pennsylvania seeks a warehouse associate to hand-build pallets, label products, and load trailers per company standards. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, inspect products for safety, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.

You will read pick sheets, follow safety protocols, and report issues to management. The role requires basic math, English literacy, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 6 months of warehouse experience preferred; or equivalent.
• Forklift and pallet jack certification required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English; basic math skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Read pick sheets and travel to warehouse locations using a pallet jack.
• Select correct product type and quantity, label, palletize and load on trucks.
• Handle products per food safety procedures to reduce damage and contamination.
• Keep the warehouse clean and safe; address spills and damaged cases.
• Communicate issues to management (out of stocks, safety concerns).
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners safely per standards.
• Report equipment issues to management.
• Complete paperwork and track time with wearable computer.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance; work overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
