Job summary

Sysco is a global leader in foodservice distribution seeking a warehouse associate to accurately pick products from customer orders, assemble shipments, and label items for dispatch. You will operate an electric pallet jack or forklift, move pallets, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in extreme temperatures.

This role requires reliability, basic communication, and strict adherence to GMP and SQF policies.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
0–1 year relevant work experience.
Frequently lift product weighing 10 lb to 75 lb and up to 100 lb.
Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
Constantly bend and twist while operating pallet jack/forklift.
Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler/freezer).
Stand for 10–12 hours daily.

Responsibilities

Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
Attach labels on product.
Operate an electric pallet jack (2-pallet length) to correct slot location and transport to dock for staging.
Handle products with care.
Report damage of merchandise, equipment, or facility to a supervisor.
Perform daily equipment checks.
Assist in cleaning the facility and sign off on daily cleaning tasks.
Sign in/out for all equipment used.
Use basic communication to understand work systems and instructions.
Adhere to GMP and SQF policies and procedures as described in Sysco manuals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
