Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Portland, OR is seeking a warehouse associate to accurately select products, prepare orders for shipping, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

You will read orders, assemble items, label products, operate an electric pallet jack, and move pallets to the dock area for staging while handling products with care.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to work 10–12 hours daily, and adherence to GMP/SQF policies; forklift/pallet jack experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0–1 year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift 10–75 lbs and up to 100 lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Stand 10–12 hours daily.
• Work in extreme temperatures (cooler/freezer).
• Follow GMP and SQF policies.

Responsibilities

• Read customer orders from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Operate electric pallet jack to move to correct slot location and transport to dock for staging.
• Handle products with care and report any damage.
• Perform daily equipment checks and assist in facility cleaning.
• Sign in/out for equipment used and follow work system instructions.
