Job summary

Sysco is hiring for a warehouse associate to hand-build pallets, load trailers, and follow strict food-safety and safety procedures. The role requires lifting up to 90 pounds, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Training is provided; day-to-day duties include accurate picking, labeling, and routine paperwork. Day shift with four 10-hour shifts, Sunday–Friday, plus overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift and pallet jack certification required.
• No prior warehouse experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Read pick sheets and travel to warehouse locations using a pallet jack.
• Picks product, labels and loads pallets onto trucks per standards.
• Handle products and build pallets following food safety procedures.
• Keep warehouse clean and safe, correct issues such as spills or damaged cases.
• Communicate with management about issues (out-of-stocks, safety).
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners safely; report equipment issues.
• Complete paperwork and track time with wearable computer for productivity.
• Maintain regular attendance and overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
