Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team at St. Rita's Medical Center.

The role focuses on preparing sterile instruments, maintaining aseptic technique, and ensuring all supplies are ready for the surgical team. The ideal candidate will hold an Associates degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology and be certified (CST/ NBSTA/ TS-C/ NCCT) with preference for additional perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology (required)
• Must be CST/ NBSTA / TS-C / NCCT certified (or eligible)

Responsibilities

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during the procedure and maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for the procedure.
• Assists with pre and post procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Prepares and performs surgical skin prep and clipping as indicated by procedure.
