Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for St. Rita's Medical Center. The role supports the surgical team by preparing sterile instruments, supplies and equipment and ensuring aseptic technique.

Requires an Associate Degree or vocational/military certificate in Surgical Technology. Certifications CST/NBSTA/TS-C/NCCT; BLS preferred, and about one year perioperative experience is preferred.

Competenze

• Associates Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (preferred) or similar certification.
• Certification by CST, NBSTA, TS-C or NCCT is required.
• One year of perioperative or related surgical technology experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures and maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Provides complete case preparation and adapts instruments, supplies and equipment as needed.
• Assists with pre- and post-procedure cleaning of the operating room and instruments.
• Prepares and performs surgical skin prep and clipping as indicated by the procedure.
