Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for St. Francis Eastside on a PRN basis. The role supports the operative team by providing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment and maintaining aseptic technique.

Responsibilities include instrument handling, case preparation, and assisting with pre/post procedure room cleaning. Eligible candidates possess an Associate degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology, plus CST/ NBSTA/ TS-C/ NCCT certification as required.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology is required.
• Certifications: CST, NBSTA, TS-C or NCCT; TS-C not accepted in Cincinnati.
• BLS through American Heart Association preferred; Virginia reside requirement for CST if in VA.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures and maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for procedures.
• Assists with pre- and post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Performs surgical skin prep and clipping as indicated by procedure.

Education

Associates Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology (required)
