Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for Perrysburg Medical Center to support the operating team. You will prepare sterile instruments, maintain aseptic technique, and assist intraoperative procedures.

Responsibilities include assisting with pre/post procedure cleaning and adapting to special equipment. Requires an Associate degree or equivalent Surgical Technology certification, plus CST/NBSTA/TS-C/NCCT certification.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Vocational Certification, or Military Certificate in Surgical Technology is required.
• Must be certified by one of the listed certifying bodies: CST, NBSTA, TS-C, NCCT.
• Experience in perioperative or operating room settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruments and supplies to the surgical team during the procedure and maintains aseptic technique.
• Prepares, maintains, and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for the procedure.
• Gives complete case preparation and adapts to special instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Assists with pre and post procedure cleaning of the operative room and instruments.
• Prepares and performs surgical skin prep and clipping as indicated by procedure.
