Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Lorain is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to support operative and invasive procedures. You will prepare sterile instruments, maintain aseptic technique, and assist the surgical team throughout cases.

Responsibilities include instrument setup, counts with the circulating RN, patient safety, and on-call readiness. Requires CST/NCCT and 1 year perioperative experience; associates degree or military certs accepted.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in Surgical Technology.
• Certification as CST/NBSTA/TS-C/NCCT required.
• One year perioperative operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sterile instruments and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and assist team during procedures.
• Perform surgical counts with circulating RN and ensure aseptic technique.
