Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join the Barrett Surgical Center. The role supports the surgical team in moderate to high acuity cases, ensuring sterile conditions and efficient patient care.

The position features a Monday-Friday schedule from 10:45am to 7:15pm with call requirements, and offers sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have a certification as a Surgical Technologist or equivalent.
• Certification options include TS-C(NCCT), CSFA or CSA.
• Associate degree or certificate from a community college or technical school required.
• Competency examination through NBSTSA or NCCT completed as part of certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operative suite and sterile field for safe patient care.
• Gather instruments, supplies, and assist as surgical assistant when needed.
• Maintain sterile technique and anticipate surgeon needs during procedures.
• Support inventory, equipment setup, and adherence to Joint Commission standards.
