Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our OR team. You will assist in moderate to high acuity surgical cases, maintain sterile technique, and prepare instruments, supplies and the sterile field for procedures.

We value teamwork, ongoing education, and patient safety, with opportunities to mentor students and support performance improvement initiatives. This role requires CST or TS-C certification, BLS, and the ability to work Monday through Friday

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Surgical Technology certificate or associate degree required.
• BLS certification required.
• National certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operative suite and sterile field for procedures.
• Scrub, gown, gloves, pass instruments to surgeon.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist as needed.
• Prepare case carts and review schedules.
• Mentor or train students and new hires.
