Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Certified Surgical First Assistant to join the perioperative team. Under the Perioperative leader, you will assist the surgeon by providing exposure, maintaining hemostasis, and performing technical tasks to help operations proceed safely and efficiently.

The CSFA will participate in patient care from pre-op through post-op, uphold confidentiality, and apply general computer skills as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from ARC/STSA-accredited surgical assisting program.
• NBSTSA certification and CPR certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist surgeon during operations to provide exposure and maintain hemostasis.
• Work under perioperative leadership to help procedures run safely and efficiently.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and use general computer skills as needed.
