Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Certified Physical Therapy Assistant to provide skilled PT services to pediatric patients from 0 to 21 years old in home or daytime clinic settings.

The role requires a Texas PTA license, an associate degree, and at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience, with pediatrics and home health preferred. Applicants must maintain valid auto insurance and a driver’s license. Part- and full-time options offer comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current state of Texas licensure as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant.
• 6 months full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
• Schedules supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising PT according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the physical therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances physical therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment.
