Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care, a pediatric therapy practice serving the Dallas Metroplex, seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant. This full-time role delivers skilled PT services in patients’ homes or daytime facilities, 2+ visits per week as directed, with mentorship and career support.

The successful candidate will hold a Texas PTA license, have pediatric and home health experience, and bring at least 6 months of clinical work.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current Texas PTA licensure is required.
• Minimum 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience is preferred and Home Health experience is an asset.
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility for patients aged 0-21, 2+ times per week as ordered by physicians.
• Schedule supervision visits with supervising PT according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plan care to meet goals of the physical therapy interventions.
• Update job knowledge by engaging in education, publications, networking, and professional organizations.
• Enhance physical therapy practice by taking ownership of new requests and adding value.
