Life Time in Minnesota is seeking a Personal Trainer to support members in achieving happier, healthier lives. You will build relationships, design safe programs, and provide education on fitness and nutrition while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include client assessments, program design, promoting training services, and staying current with certifications. This is a full-time role with benefits and a commission-based pay structure tied to productivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of personal training experience is preferred.
• Certified personal Trainer credential is required.
• CPR and AED certification is required.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for class duration and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instructs clients during personal training sessions on safe, effective use of cardio, flex, and strength equipment.
• Conducts fitness consultations including pre-participation screening, medical history, lifestyle questionnaire, and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, educate, and motivate members.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client's fitness plan.
• Remains current on certifications and trends in the industry.
• Delivers superior customer service to keep members feeling competent and connected.
