Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. is seeking a Certified Peer Support Worker to combine lived experience with professional peer support practices, guiding clients toward recovery and permanent housing.

You will lead the Housing Support Specialist team, ensure trauma-informed services across Rapid Rehousing and Transitional Housing, and mentor staff while supporting compliance and reporting.

Formación

• CPSW certification through NM program is required.
• Lived experience with mental health or substance use challenges.
• Experience with homelessness or supportive housing is desirable.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competency.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management software.
• Valid driver’s license and local travel ability.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct peer support and as a leader for the Housing Support Specialist team.
• Coordinate daily operations and support program compliance and reporting.
• Mentor team members and assist with complex client situations.
• Support clients from crisis navigation to housing stability and recovery.
