Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Center is seeking a dedicated PCA to provide routine patient care in a high acuity unit. You will collect data, assist with daily living activities, and support nursing staff with documentation and patient transport on a rotating weekend schedule.

The ideal candidate is a licensed CNA or LNA with 1 year of medical clerical experience and strong communication skills. This is a day shift role (6:00am - 6:30pm) on the 4th floor PCU with Banner Health career growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA/LNA certification in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient health.
• Collect patient data and vitals; document in medical records.
• Transcribe and process physician orders in the EMR as needed.
• Provide unit support and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Support patient transport and equipment safety.
• Maintain accurate patient records and chart forms.
