Banner Health seeks a Certified Patient Care Assistant on the Medical Unit in Casper, WY. This full-time day shift role supports nursing teams in a 64-bed unit, performing routine patient care, data collection, and basic clerical duties.

BLS and state CNA certification are required, with a focus on teamwork and patient comfort. The position emphasizes accurate charting, supply management, and collaboration with physicians, families, and staff in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA in state of practice required for new hires.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and support the patient plan of care.
• Collect vital signs, input/output and delegated measurements; document data.
• Report abnormalities to a licensed professional and communicate status to care team.
• Assist with procedures and use equipment under supervision and competency.
• Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain patient records, chart forms, and supply materials.
• Monitor supplies and assist with transport and turnover as assigned.
• May assist with transporting patients and support OR turnover as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
