Weekend/holiday rotations, differential pay, and extensive patient support duties are included. Responsibilities include routine patient care, data collection, documentation, and collaboration with licensed staff to ensure safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA license in state of practice is required for new hires.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for certain Banner roles.
• Passing ECG/EEG interpretation course or on-the-job training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and assist with daily living.
• Collect data such as vital signs and intake/output; document in medical records.
• Communicate changes in patient status to licensed professionals.
• Assist with procedures and supply coordination for unit operations.
• Perform receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain patient records and ensure forms are filed and accessible.
• Assist with supplies and equipment management and monitoring.
• Support OR turnover and patient transport as assigned.
