Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a patient‑focused CNA for the Neuro PCU on the Baywood unit in Mesa, AZ. You will provide routine patient care, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain accurate medical records under supervision.

The role supports a diverse patient population with neurological, stroke, cardiac, and post‑surgical needs. The position offers a DAY shift schedule of three 12‑hour shifts per week, with a rotating weekends/holidays plan, a flat $1/hour weekend differential, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current CNA license in state of practice required.
• 1 year medical clerical or hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; computer literacy.
• ECG/EEG interpretation training or unit secretary program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care and assist with daily living activities.
• Document patient data and assist with charting.
• Assist with specimen collection, vital signs, and data.
• Support with receptionist/clerical duties and scheduling.
• Maintain patient records and supply management.
• Assist with transporting patients and OR turnover as needed.
