Job summary

Banner Health in Greeley, CO seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for the PCU unit on a full-time day shift (three 12-hour shifts, 6:00 am–6:30 pm). Weekend rotations apply with a $1.50/hour weekend differential when relevant.

The facility is North Colorado Medical Center, a large 378-bed Level II trauma center serving Weld County and surrounding regions. The role provides routine patient care, data collection, documentation, and unit support to ensure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required; CNA license active in practice state.
• 1 year medical clerical experience preferred; hospital/clinic setting helpful.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient health.
• Collect vital signs and other data; document in EMR.
• Report changes in patient status to licensed professional.
• Perform delegated procedures (blood draws, EKGs) as trained.
• Handle receptionist/clerical tasks to support unit operations.
• Maintain patient records and chart forms; ensure proper filing.
• Monitor and reconciling supplies and equipment usage.
• Assist with patient transport and OR turnover when needed.
• Work under supervision in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care.
