Job summary

Asante invites a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our nights, part-time care team in Medford. You will work under RN supervision, applying nursing processes to provide compassionate patient care and uphold department policies. Asante values teamwork, excellence, and patient-centered service.

We seek a proactive CNA to support CNAs and RNs, ensure patient safety, document care and educate families, while embracing Asante’s Vision and Values in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required by OSBN on start.
• BLS certification required by AHA on start.

SalaryRange:$19.27 - $26.50

Shift Differentials:

• $1.21/hr. for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $2.05/hr. for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $1.05/hr. extra for working weekends

Position Summary

ACertified Nursing Assistantisresponsible and accountable for their practice for assigned patient(s), contributing to the utilization of the nursing process, under the supervision and direction of the RN, and performs all duties in accordance with department policies and procedures and scope of practice.We are seeking a CNA to join a top healthcare system. Position Qualifications

Certifications/Licensure

• CNA certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) is required upon start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

• This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis – such as transferring a patient in and out of a bed. The ability to bend, stretch, twist, and perform other awkward physical movements is also required.
