Asante in Medford, Oregon is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare system. CNAs are valued daily by our team, working under the RN supervision to deliver compassionate patient care and support across units.

The role involves nursing-support duties, promoting patient safety, documenting care and responses, and communicating clearly with patients, families, and staff. This is a 0.9 FTE, full-time night-shift position that supports Asante’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• CNA certification by OSBN required at start.
• BLS certification by AHA required at start.
• Previous Med Surg float experience preferred.

SalaryRange:$19.27 - $26.50

Shift Differentials:

• $1.21/hr. for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $2.05/hr. for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $1.05/hr. extra for working weekends

Position Summary

ACertified Nursing Assistantisresponsible and accountable for their practice for assigned patient(s), contributing to the utilization of the nursing process, under the supervision and direction of the RN, and performs all duties in accordance with department policies and procedures and scope of practice.We are seeking a CNA to join a top healthcare system. What You’ll Do

• Become a vital member of the patient care team and build a strong relationship with the CNAs and RNs.
• Promote patient safety and comfort while actively participating in patient satisfaction.
• Demonstrate advanced Responsive Observations knowledge base in practice of care.
• Document patient and family responses and effectiveness of teaching and interventions per department standards.
• Provide excellent communication between staff and patients and patient families.
• Promote and maintain Asante’s Vision and Values.

Position Qualifications

Certifications/Licensure

• CNA certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) is required upon start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start.
• You will float to Med Surg. Previous experience in this department is preferred.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

• This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis – such as transferring a patient in and out of a bed. The ability to bend, stretch, twist, and perform other awkward physical movements is also required.
