Job summary

Asante is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Oregon. The position is 0.6 FTE with a variable schedule and an hourly salary range of $19.27–$26.50.

You will work under RN supervision, contribute to the nursing process, and provide compassionate patient care in a top healthcare system. Responsibilities include promoting patient safety, documenting responses and teaching outcomes, and maintaining clear communication with staff, patients, and families.

Qualifications

• CNA certified by OSBN required at start.
• BLS certification by AHA required at start.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Shift Differentials:

• $1.21/hr. for working between 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• $2.05/hr. for working between 11:01pm and 7:00am
• $1.05/hr. extra for working weekends

Position Summary

ACertified Nursing Assistantisresponsible and accountable for their practice for assigned patient(s), contributing to the utilization of the nursing process, under the supervision and direction of the RN, and performs all duties in accordance with department policies and procedures and scope of practice.We are seeking a CNA to join a top healthcare system. • Become a vital member of the patient care team and build a strong relationship with the CNAs and RNs.
• Promote patient safety and comfort while actively participating in patient satisfaction.
• Demonstrate advanced Responsive Observations knowledge base in practice of care.
• Document patient and family responses and effectiveness of teaching and interventions per department standards.
• Provide excellent communication between staff and patients and patient families.

Position Qualifications

Certifications/Licensure

• CNA certified by the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) is required upon start.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

• This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis – such as transferring a patient in and out of a bed. The ability to bend, stretch, twist, and perform other awkward physical movements is also required.
