Job summary

Washington Soldiers Home, part of the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs, seeks a Nursing Assistant Certified on-call to support Veterans with skilled nursing care. You will assist with ADLs, monitor conditions, and document in EMR under supervision.

On-call staff work a rotational schedule with a minimum of three shifts per week; telework is not offered. Eligible for the 24/7 facility premium and longevity pay within the posted pay range.

Qualifications

• Current valid Washington State license to practice as a Nursing Assistant Certified.
• Active OBRA status required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds & reach 36 inches; strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Record vital signs and document in electronic medical records.
• Observe, report changes to RN/LPN; support therapies under licensed personnel.
