State of Washington Department of Veterans Affairs’ Walla Walla Veterans Home is seeking a Nursing Assistant Certified for the night shift. The part-time, permanent role supports skilled nursing care for Veterans in a homelike setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, following care plans, and documenting care under RN supervision. Eligible for shift premium; background check required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Washington CNA license and OBRA Registry active.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Agency required competencies: learn and grow, meet others' needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks.
• Support residents according to care plans and RN guidance.
• Maintain clean, safe, and homelike environments.
• Document vital signs and care provided, and report changes to supervisors.
