Job summary

The Walla Walla Veterans Home is hiring a Nursing Assistant Certified for night shift (10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.), part-time, permanent. Join a team dedicated to compassionate care for veterans in a homelike setting, with opportunities to contribute to residents’ daily living activities and wellness programs.

Requirements include a Washington NAC license and OBRA active status; English proficiency is required. This role is on-site, with no telework, and involves alignment with state compensation

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English and able to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Washington state license to practice as a nursing assistant certified (NAC).
• Active OBRA registry status is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering nursing and nursing-related care to Veterans.
• Participate in care plans and maintain resident relationships.
• Assist with activities of daily living and monitoring of meals and fluids.
• Record vital signs and document intake/output as directed.
• Support with therapies and treatments under RN supervision.
