Job summary

PACS is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and supervision. You will identify residents, assist with daily living activities, and maintain accurate documentation with respect to privacy and safety.

The role emphasizes compassionate interaction, adherence to facility policies, and effective communication with nursing staff to support resident well-being and comfort. CPR may be preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments, serving meals, etc.
• Use only authorized abbreviations when recording information.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative manner.
• Assist residents with daily functions and personal care as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report any disclosures.
