Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) to support residents with compassionate, person-centered care. This role emphasizes independence, safety, and meaningful engagement in daily activities.

We offer full-time and part-time schedules across day and night shifts with competitive pay starting at $18.50 per hour, plus shift differentials. On-the-job assistance to obtain Ohio CNA certification is available, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: CNA/STNA certification required in Ohio; must pass state test and be listed on Nurse Aide Registry; on-the-job assistance offered.
• Experience: good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to use proper lift techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and safety for residents.
• Offer residents choices and support decision-making.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities.
• Assist residents with getting up and going to bed as requested.
• Plan and share meals with residents and dine together.
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks.

Available Shifts:All shifts available

Pay:Starting from $18.50 increases with experience

Shift Differential:$3.00/hour 2nd shift and $1.50/hour 3rd shift

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
• Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities
• Engaging in interesting and meaningful activities with elders
• Assisting the elders in getting up and going to bed when they want
• Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
