Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA to join our resident-centered care team. You will assist residents with daily tasks, document care, and operate under nurse supervision.

Availability: Full-Time 2nd shift and Part-Time 1st shift; starting pay is $18.00 per hour. We offer benefits such as medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee assistance.

Qualifications

• Ohio CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio; must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

• Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Perform other duties as needs arise and/or assigned.
